Hello there!

Welcome to my website! My name is Kerrie, and I'm a Tampa-based photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, motherhood, and family photography.   I have a passion for capturing the special moments in your life, from the first steps to the first day of school, and everything in between.

My journey into photography started when I was a teenager and got my first SLR film camera. I loved learning everything about photography, and I used to take photos for friends and family just as a hobby. However, when I had my own children, my passion for photography grew even stronger.   I especially loved taking photos during my pregnancies, but at that time, there weren't many Tampa photographers in the area who specialized in maternity and newborn photography.

It was then that I realized that I might want to focus more on this field. I attended workshops and honed my skills in posing newborns and moms, and eventually, I found my true passion in newborn and motherhood photography. There's something truly magical about capturing the bond between a mother and her newborn child, and I feel so honored to be a part of that experience.

For me, photography isn't just about the session and the captures. It's about creating memories that will last a lifetime. That's why I'm so passionate about having the images printed in frames and hung on the walls of our home. Every time I walk by a framed photo of my children or open an album, I'm transported back to that moment, and it's like they're still right there with me. I want that same experience for my clients, which is why I offer a variety of heirloom albums and museum canvas for them to display their family in art form.

I specialize in creating beautiful, natural-looking images of mothers and their newborn babies, classic family poses that showcase the love your have for one another.  I have a preference for the classic, soft images.  The timeless pieces that  will never go out of style.  

In my indoor photography studio, I utilize state of the art  studio lighting to keep my work consistent to my style.  When I officially opened Pure Bloom Photography in 2014, I knew that I wanted my Photography studio to be a place where families felt comfortable and could relax, while I created their memories.
